Ever since 2017 started, life has been moving very fast! This means being busy day in and day out. I have been planning this section for some time, but have not had time to get around to it. This snow day is really helping me out!! SO, without further ado, here it is:
Favorite Outfit: I wore this outfit to The Lumineers concert a little less than a week ago. It made me excited for warmer weather getting the chance to break out the vintage vibe jean jacket. It made me feel a tad edgy (soooo not me). I've linked the jeans here, my boots (which are on SALE) here, my bag is Kate Spade, I couldn't find the exact bag, but I found a similar bag in the same color here and a similar style bag here. My jacket has a few years on it too, I got it from American Eagle 2-3 years ago. It has a vintage vibe and a boyfriend fit. Here and here is a similar one.
TV/Movie:
Patriots Day: I saw this with my family recently and absolutely loved it. I remember this act very vividly and where I was when everything happened. When I saw this movie, it was eye opening to see a different perspective and see some of the things that occurred during this event.
Music:
The Lumineers: Old, but new. I saw them in concert last week and completely fell in love with them all over again. I listened to them constantly during those long study sessions in college and they were always my go to pick for something easy to listen to. They did NOT disappoint in concert. If they have a show near you, I recommend it. I think their first album is still my fav (I have it on vinyl), but their second album is giving them a run for their money. I've had "Sleep On The Floor" on repeat for too long now!
Reading:
Big Little Lies - I just started reading this and I am already hooked!! It's a plus that they are making a show on HBO based on it, but within the first 10 pages you will be hooked.
Upcoming Plans:
I haven't planned any big trips yet for the year. This weekend, I am heading into the city to meet some friends from my sorority (see?? they are really friends you will have forever). I think I have just been focusing on saving money and my job recently. Personally, I have been trying to track my expenses more so I know where I am spending and where I can save. It has been something I have been trying to do for some time. I have been using the app Mint and so far, I enjoy it! It helps seeing where I spend and where I can possibly save.
Products:
Lush Cupcake Mask: I love lush. I think they're products are amazing and find it fascinating how each one is made. I am a big believer in face masks and have tried a bunch of theres. My favorite on to date has to be this one. The smell isn't too strong and I feel it actually working when I put it on my skin!
Carols Daughter Hair Milk: I have always had issues with my hair. Finding a product that actually works seemed like the age old question. I found this product at Target a little less than a month ago and thought I would give it a try. I am so happy I did! I have seen an improvement in how my hair dries and is styled now!
Web Finds:
Kate Spade Tote: Big bags are the best! They carry everything you need(and everything you do NOT need). This bag looks perfect and I am totally sold with the zipper.
Madewell Perfect Vintage Jean: I love the cut off on the bottom of these jeans. These would be perfect with a pair of sneakers or any sort of flat.
Chloe Espadrilles: I wish it was warm enough to wear these comfortably. Unfortunately, this purchase will have to be on pause until the bean boots are out away.
I am hoping to continue this series every 2-3 weeks. Hope everyone enjoyed it!! Anything else you want to see??
