Vest Weather

I think it is safe to say there is finally a chill in the air, and do you know what that means?? VEST SEASON! Yes, vest season. Personally, I love vests because they are so versatile with every outfit. You can wear one with an athletic outfit or under a bigger jacket for warmth. Another perk? Vest Season can last all the way to April! (Sometimes, weather depending) My favorite way to wear a vest is with a large sweater because who can beat that!!

                  

When it comes to finding the perfect vest (or vests if you are like me), I tend to turn to my go-to store, J.Crew. I have been wearing their vests for a few years and they never disappoint. They are light enough to not feel bulky, but still stylish enough to wear with absolutely any outfit. I attached a few of my favorites below! Likewise, I have a Gap vest too from a few years ago in red, it adds a pop of color to all of the neutrals I wear throughout fall/winter.

In the past few years, the "fur vest" trend has become more and more popular. I'll admit I was nervous to try it. I always thought it always looked great on everyone else, but thought it wouldn't look the same on me (Am I the only one who has those thoughts??) I found some cute vests that aren't too extreme and I've tried on and actually liked! Patagonia makes some great ones and Target too! Target is great because I don't feel bad if I am only wearing it a few times throughout the year.
