Let me be honest with you, I HATED the sneakers and jeans trend for SUCH a long time. I thought it was cute on everyone else, but then I saw one look and just went back to not liking it. Finally, it clicked. It was back in November where I saw a pair I LOVED that was on sale (they are still on SALE ... Click here!!) and the look was sold for me.
I started finding outfits left and right that would go with my new sneakers and now I wish I could wear them all the time! I'm not saying none of my shoes are comfy, but it is an amazing feeling at the end of the day when my feet aren't aching from being on them all day. I also think the fact that there are so many different styles out there now there is a style for everyone!
I got my kicks at Foot Locker up in Rhode Island back in November, but have been wearing them a bunch since then. They are perfect for running errands on the weekend or for the simple everyday outfit. I see so many people now wearing them to the office which safely means it is socially acceptable with any outfit. It's funny because growing up I only wanted to wear sneakers day and night. I would always wear the adidas 'Superstar' Sneaker (the one with three stripes) & now I can sport them as an adult!
