Ah yes, The Bachelor. I have no shame! I have been watching for a few years and became big fans of Kaitlyn Bristowe & Shawn Booth. My sister and I follow them on social media and love the fact that they are getting to know each other before marriage. Recently, Shawn Booth has started going around the country with Erin Oprea (Carrie Underwoods trainer!!) and have been hosting work out sessions to raise money for Veterans. It works! Once we heard they were going to be in the NYC area, we immediately bought our tickets to see our favorite Bachelor couple and take place in a work out! I've been so busy since the start of 2017, so this really was the motivation I needed to start my (re)commitment to exercise.
We drove to Brooklyn on Saturday as the snow fell. Have you ever signed up for something and then 5 minutes before arriving you're convinced you are the only one that signed up and don't want to go anymore?? Yep! That's exactly how Dana and I felt! Plus, the snow was coming down a lot heavier, but we already had our tickets and couldn't turn back.
We parked the car and headed into the venue with tons of other girls. It was great because you knew all these girls were just as crazy about the bachelor as you were! When Kaitlyn, Shawn, and Erin came out the energy rose and the work out began. While doing the work out, it didn't feel too difficult on my body. There were bursts of cardio followed by a lot of exercises that help tone your body. It ended up being a lot of fun! It definitely got me back in the swing of things in the exercise department.
The best part of the workout? Shawn Booth walked right behind us! It was like seeing a celebrity! Ok, maybe that is a BIT extreme, BUT I enjoyed the whole experience. It was great to have my Tv cross with my exercise routine. They even gave me some ideas to add into my own routines! Since it was snowing, we headed home after instead of exploring more of the city. The snow actually helped thought because I was able to clean all the spots I have been avoiding time after time!
