Paddle Buddies

With the weather getting hotter and hotter each day, I am constantly looking for ways to cool down! Last year, I found a place nearby, in Piermont, where you can rent a kayak by the hour. It's may be a work out.. but it's so much fun!

               

Not long ago, I went kayaking with Ry & one of my friends' family. We only could kayak within the marsh, because if you went out on the river you would be pushed right to the other side! (not something I wanted). For about an hour and a half, we paddled our little hearts out (sometimes even pulling the other kayaks behind us), but I highly recommend an activity like that for anyone bored on the weekend! It also makes a great date or just a simple hang out.

There are plenty of places to kayak no matter where you live, some places even have kayak tours where you can follow someone rather than having no idea where to paddle for all the best spots.
