Vineyard Vines Dress

Summer may be over (even though, with this weather it DOES NOT feel like that) but I wanted to share one of my favorite colorful dresses with you. I got this dress from Vineyard Vines a little over a month ago and have been in love with it ever since! It is perfect for a BBQ or a date night. No matter the time of day, it always adds a pop of color into even the gloomiest days. I wore this dress when I went out to dinner with my family at our beach house a few weeks ago.

Just Keep Running!

Being fit is something that is very important to me. This means I am constantly working to be in the best shape I can be in. Personally, dieting was never really for me. I was never a fan of changing my diet drastically for my appearance. Instead, changing my exercise regime and my choices in meals became a lot more important. About a year ago, I really committed myself to running. (Trust me, before that I "ran", and that meant I would tell people I ran but in reality I failed miserably) My best friend, who ran cross country in college, would run withe me and give me tips to improve my technique and it really worked!

               

Stowe

This post is from a few weeks back and I am finally able to post it! For Ryan's Birthday this year, we headed towards Stowe, Vermont. I have never been to Stowe, let alone Vermont! I did not know what to expect, but I had nothing but high expectations since it was one of his favorite places to be.

                 

Far Away Friends

Whenever a new school year starts, I always think of the great friends I made over the years, whether it was in college or high school. Since graduating in 2015, it has been difficult to see these friends every week, let alone every day. As I attended Syracuse University, I met students from all over the country and am happy to say I have friends everywhere now! After graduating, all of my close friends moved to new places, some close, some far, and that made it even more difficult. They moved to Los Angeles, Boston, Buffalo, Jacksonville, Washington DC, and even New York City (this one was a little easier for me to get to). I got lucky that my home friends ended up staying in the area, but I still made a point of seeing them as much as I could.
